Sedan Wheel Advice
Sedan Wheel Advice
Hey guys, quick question for all you experts out there...i've been getting conflicting information about wheel and tire sizes and am looking for some advice!
Would these wheels fit my G without having to drop it, roll fenders, or without rubbing during normal driving, turns, etc? My ride is an 03 Sedan currently sitting on the OEM 17's.
Wheel Size: 20x8.5 Front 20x10 Rear
Tire Size: 255x35x20 Bridgestone Potenza Front/ 275x30x20 Achilles Rear 70% Tread Remaining
Bolt Pattern: 5x114.3 or 5x4.5
Offset: +35 Front and +40 Rear
I've got the mod bug now so any advice or help would be greatly appreciated!

Sunken? No not at all.
Width of the rim Directly impacts the offset and where the rim sits accordingly. Because he's going with a wider rim set-up those offsets will actually put him fairly flush I think.
here's a direct comparison to illustrate what I'm saying. Stock 17" rims vs. his posted option:
FRONT:

REAR:

To put that in perspective of where the rim will sit, think of the stock 17" rims with a +22mm Front and +8mm Rear offset.
That's what this is equivalent to on the outer surface position.
The only issue I see is that he's likely going to rub with that tire size because he's going to be out into the fender. Once lowered, he will likely need a fender roll/pull, or smaller tires. Not sure on this obviously but it's possible with those tire sizes.
