Need help with PA15-INFI
Need help with PA15-INFI
Alright. So I just got my PA15-INFI. I am really confused. For those of you who have installed it, you know that one of the wiring harnesses to go into the sat tuner in the trunk. The other wiring harness has to go in the back of our head units. What I don't get it is that the two wiring harnesses are right next to each other. Here is a pic.

So ya I don't get it. How is one of those supposed to go in the trunk and one in the head unit when they are connected to each other?

That's the SAT connector in the trunk, the PA15 harness plugs in there. I think you use the RADIO button to access your PA15.

Peoria is correct.
You plug the USA Spec unit into the Sat cable in the trunk. Switch the DIP settings to the correct ones. I can't remember exactly what mine are set at.
Then I ran the cable under the seat, carpet and into the center console.
You then hit the radio button and will notice you now magically have an xm1 and xm2 setting
Hope that helps.

Honestly I just have mine on manual the whole time and control it from the Ipod anyways.
I believe if you have it set up so you cannot do that, the track button works. However, I didn't want to try to figure out all the folders and all that, so manual mode it is lol.
They work but the track advance moves up/down a playlist, artist, album not a single track, The fast forward (left side of deck) moves a single track.
