so there's my alignment sheet from 02/2010...i remember the guys saying they had to mess with the Toe to align it correctly. Front tires wore mostly on the inside and lasted around 18k miles before i had to replace them..i have around 6k miles on the current set and see some wear on the inside on the front..rear is perfectly fine...probably need to get the alignment done =/

sucks that the shop i went to back in 2010 closed down lol..have to find a new one. idk if i trust les schwab with lowered cars =/

Thanks for all the info guys! I just got mine on and I'm still messing with them, wasn't aware of that adjustment.

Also I'm confused about the shim placement, does anyone have a nice pretty picture of that?

Matt, watch the entire video I posted. It also shows in detail the installation of the shim kit.

The shims add a +2 degrees of camber then you use the arms to adjust from there.

OP, your specs look to be good. Caster is out a bit from OEM spec but not by much. Have you looked at your lower inner control arm bushings to see if they are shot? If those are bad, your tires will get eaten quick as well.

havent looked at the bushings..but i took my car in to the dealership in dec of 2010 to get my cats replaced under warranty and they did a multi point inspection for free and listed a few things to get fixed..they told me to replace the front left and right ball joints and he said something about the torque arms i believe..let me know if these would effect the tires to wear on the inside..thanks

^The truth comes out! lol jk

Yes, bad ball joints will affect camber which will eat some tire up. I'm sure they are ever worst now since its been over a year.

Edit..after you get those replaced, you'll need another alignment

^^LOL @ op. Yes, worn parts will cause inaccurate/fluctuating allignment and excessive tire wear.

That is what sets your caster. Camber just slides in and out.

Hopefully that makes any sense lol. I can try to find pics etc if needed.

You can also adjust camber without having to remove the wheel on the SPC (I think you can on all aftermarket a-arms IIRC). Just need a big ole 27mm wrench

Alright sick, I think I'll do that because I'll want my camber back in the winter. Thanks so much for posting this man, without the video I'd be completely lost.

One thing I reallyd on't get though.... How on earth does the ABS shim work?

The spacers are moving the hub out farther than it's suppose to be. Farther from the ABS sensor. By installing a shim in the ABS sensor, that effectively would move the sensor EVEN FARTHER away, no?

No problem Matt.

It's been a few years since I've installed an SPC front kit and this all may be shown in the vid I posted but IIRC the kit comes with new backets and special bolts (one is longer with a female threaded section at the top middle of it). You need to use those pieces to get the ABS sensor back into the correct place. There are also additional washers supplied incase you need to back off the sensor some.

My problem currently is a blown tie rod...my front will not hold the toe spec because my inner is blown. Wheel freely shakes on one side when lifted. My toe was at zero, i can drive around the block and it'll be back way out of wack again up front
