Remote Start Question (Viper)

I had a question for those that have remote start on their G35's. How did you guys get it to work without the FOB in the car to start? Do I have to hide one key fob in the car? Thanks

I took mine to a shop. Believe I have the viper 9501? Had it about 6 months. Great range although a little expensive. Absolutely no need to have a key or fob in the car. Any quality shop should be able to handle this. Personally I just carry the viper remote and a key to avoid carrying both remotes. So I have to enter the key into ignition. Hope that helps

Thanks. I got the Viper 5704 which is the replacement for the 5901. It looks like the newer one needed a additional part and program to get it wo work. I should be good to go next week. Thanks for replying!

there isn't a reason to leave your key in the car:S.. you just gota instal the remote using a bypass so the remote starter works..

What additional part and program was it, i assume the part was a bypass module but I'd like to know the program because i am interested in this.
