All good man. How do you like the z tube and 5/16th spacer combo?

 

i have a ztube, k&n drop in filter, spacer, y pipe, coupe mid pipe. do i need a tune? will resetting the ecu be similar as tuning it??

 

Resetting the ecu will do nothing, the tune gives the ecu completely new targets to hit as well as remove the wot restriction, resetting the rev and speed limiters, etc etc

 

Great combo...the HFC really set off the ztube and spacer..figure I'm due for the uprev, guess I'm gonna have to make a run to Texas

 

Do you have stock exhaust other than the HFC, Arkansas?

 

Etune is not worth it. I got my G dyno tuned after etune, and lets just say that the targets were waaay off, and band curve looked terrible. A good dyno tuner is the real deal...etunes are damn near useless.

 

Also Churches is not the place to go....they charge $400 for retunes, as shown on website, and confirmed in talking to their guy. Also they use dynopacks which read high, and can cheat numbers so to say. Anyone near socal should check out SpecialtyZ near chatworth CA. They hooked me up real good. Was glad I didnt go to churches.

 

Wow that's spendy, I would think that it would be cheaper if they did the initial tune.. Heard he's a good tuner tho

 

No, I have a coupe middy as well... Sounds awesome and still has that low end growl. Not ricey and trust me, I know ricey.. Working with Seymore4 now on osiris mod, it should complete the package. Got the HFC's and middy from this site and full isntall for less than $600, you cant even get an HKS muffler for that!
