Camber arm Nut spinning!!! HELP

My coils came in today, i'm in the process of installing them, of course after taking out the strut and throwing the coils on, i decided to put on my aftermarket camber arm. the nut to take the camber arm off is spinning. I've tried several different ways to break it loose but i cannot. Has anyone had this problem and came up with a solution? Please post ASAP!

Are you talking about the castle nut?

Try C clamping the arm to the spindle and turning the nut

if you are taking about the castle nut connecting the front a-arm then you need to place pressure on the suspension or the nut will continue to spin

LMFAO

If you want more help specify location on the vechicle, there's front and rear camber arms for this car, and there's more than one nut/mount for all of them.

if it's the one with the cotter pin then it's the front a-arms. As I said, you need to apply pressure on the suspension when taking off the nut or it will spin freely

This^^^^^^^^

Just grab a set of Adjustable pliers or a c clamp or whatever and pinch the knucle to the upper control arm to put tension on it.

This is the easy part (getting it off)

Then you need a 2 jaw puller to remove the cone piece. If you don't have that you'll need to take the control arm to a shop to remove the cone.

If you are putting adjustable arms on just cut it off.

Take a solid punch or something flat and put it up against the 'flat' of the nut, and give it a good smack with a hammer, repeat this for all 6 'flats' on the nut.

Then get that tension on there TIGHT with the pliers/clamp, you'll probably need a buddy for this.

Also, Air impact might be reqired. But you can try it by hand with above method first.

And if that all fails and you cant get an impact, do as pulsar 1 said, just be VERY CAREFUL, do NOT touch the aluminum. I'd recommend against cutting it but as a last result you CAN do that.

The thing that is spinning isn't actually the nut, it's the whole shaft, as well as the tapered cone that is inside the knuckle. You're trying to put a bunch of pressure on the tapered cone so that it can't spin anymore, once you do that properly that nut will crack free.

Jack up the spindle on the lower ball joint to compress suspension and then use the C-clamp:
