I have a few areas, parts... on my car that I'm unclear of the purpose of it. Wondering if you can help identify its purpose. This thread can serve as a means of identifying unknown parts.

Car = 04' sedan 6mt

1. Slots in the center console. I think its for some dividers but I have never seen them before.




2. Theres a wire harness attached to the obdll wire harness and I'm unsure of the purpose. I was thinking its for the airbag but who knows.

 

In photo 1, you should have a little divider that you can put in there. It splits the compartment to two cup holders. In the rear position it is just another storage compartment.

 

regarding the second question: i believe that is a harness to which the dealer connects to to reprogram the tire pressure monitoring system

Ok heres a unused harness I'm unsure about. Its on the trunk roof. Guess maybe sat. radio?
