hi, i put the coupe 18in rims on my 2003 sedan for a little bit over a year.
i have never thought about the pro and con of changing the tire size after watching this video on youtube
what effect does it have by changing the diameter and the circumference on our sedan?
Is it the same as it shows on the video?
the stock tire size is F& R : 215/55/17 diameter(D): 26.311 inch Circumference(C): ~82.6165
the stock coupe 18inch tires are
F:225/45/18 D: 25.97" C: 81.55"
R:245/45/18 D:26.68" C:83.77"
I have done further calculation find out some other tire size that would be close to the stock spec
235/45/18 D: 26.32" C: 82.666"
265/40/18 D: 26.36" C: 82.77"
assuming my calculation is correct. should we use 235/45/18 and 265/40/18 only?
in the youtube video i referred, they put on a similar tire Circumference after increasing the size of the rims.
will the 265/40/18 fit our cars without any modification on our sedan?
