wheel/offset gurus help needed
So I have been all over the forums in the Tech section and everything and i can't find a secure answer for my question and i was trying to avoid starting a new thread but everybody is running 19's and not too many people are running 18's so here is my question my car is currently dropped on 350z Megan Springs the rear of my car is sitting 24 5/8 (wheel well to ground) off the ground I'm looking at going with 18" rims which I'm going towards the XXR 526 now I'm going staggered which the rear wheels are gonna be 10.5" wide with a 20 offset. tires I will be going stretched if need be. My question is would I have to pull my fenders and if so by how much I would like to get at least a 265 or 285 rear tire or what size tire should i get so that i won't need to pull my fender? Thanks

A 275 on a 10.5" rim will fit but you'll need to roll your rear fenders. I would suggest flattening them as well while you're at it. A lot of fitment will be determined by tire size and desired camber.

True that if he's set on the offset of +20. If he was willing to get a higher offset he could fit the 275's on the 10.5 no problem.

Q- What size wheels will fit on my sedan?
The most common upgrade is to 19" or 20" wheels.
You can run the same size all around or staggered where the rears are wider.
(*Caution - the sizes listed below are estimates and may still rub depending on camber and height of your car)
(*Caution - it is not good for the AWD system in the X model sedan to run staggered wheels unless you remove the AWD fuse)
For the same size, an 8.5" +35-40mm rim will fit all around.
For staggered the rear size can be up to a 9.5" +45mm before modification is required. You can run a 10 or 10.5" but it will need to be higher offset to clear the inner fender.
Many people shave or roll their rear fenders in order to fit a lower offset or wider wheel. With the rear fenders rolled you can fit a 10" +40mm wheel with a 275 tire and -.5 degrees of camber or more.
You can go with lower offsets and/or wider wheels if you add in more negative camber and run smaller tires but do this knowing you will wear out the tires faster. There have been members go with much lower offsets and very stretched tires/negative camber so don't take this as an absolute but more of the "normal" setup.

I have 18x8.5 rims with +30 offset, and 245 tyres on the rear, with factory alignment and they only just clear the rear guards. And when I say 'just' I mean barely the width of a key.
To run those sizes I think you will need to run some serious negative camber, or roll the guards

I'm not really set on the +20 only reason I was saying that was cause the XXR 526's that I saw on NLmotoring they have it on there and I don't know if XXR has higher offsets im also really liking the 502's and the 522's that also have a higher offset then the 526's and they are also 9.5 wheels instead of the 10.5 which I know that i can get away with a 275 rear tire rolled fender and -1.0 of camber or is -1.0 Camber too much I'm trying to have the rear tires sit as flat as possible
