Wheel bearings again!!!!!

Ok both my front wheel bearings have been done in the past, maybe a year ago my driver side and 2010 and 2007 for my passenger side! On my way home from work today i started hearing the groan/rumble from the front again.. Do these cars really go through wheel bearings like this??? I'm at 165k miles on my 2005.. it's kinda expensive to keep doing!!

Some cars go a whole life time and never need bearings. Were they replaced at the dealership? Maybe if this is what you're hearing you should buy the parts from our MARKETPLACE from private vendors. Are you running spacers/wide rims, something that would put extra stress on the outside of the wheels? I wouldn't expect to replace them twice in 165K miles!

110K miles here and I have never had a bearing issue. But I don't live in a snowy area either, just another reason to live in the beautiful ATX.

155k here on originals. Do you have an x. I believe they go through bearings faster.

If your car is not properly aligned your car can wear out wheel bearings your alignment should be checked yearly. Your alignment can go out just by hitting bad pot holes even just one time.

^Agreed with the alignment statements. I make sure to check mine one to two times a year!
