So my 03 G drivers seat stopped moving forward and backward. It will tilt back and forth and the backrest moves too. When i try to move the seat forward. I hear it click like it working but nothing moves. Took it to the dealership and it he said it was a stripped gear? didnt really understand that but he said it was 1200 to fix it. I can't justify spending 1200 to have my seat move forward. Any idea on how to check whats wrong with it?

Its a 03 g35 sedan.

I had the same problem, did you find a solution. Like yourself, I too, don't won't to spend $1,000 and have been living with it. If you find a solution, please post it. Thanks
