Drivers side seat rail gear broke.

Tried to move my drivers side seat forward and it moved about an inch and stoped. Pulled the motor and found the inside seat track gear broken in half. Does anyone know were I cane find one?

Common failure. If you go to the dealer, they will want you to buy entire track/motor.

You'll have ot look around for one used.

We just had the same problem.... on our 04....

Then my wife did a Google search for the part... and found this...

http://www.odometergears.com/infiniti.html

Ordered.... one.

So Cool.

That's much better than the Dealer option.

I think mine might have broke the other day.

I haven't been in the car since, and I've been too busy at work to check.

Could just be a coin jammed in the rail, I've had that happen before too

is this about the only thing that goes wrong with the seats? well the gear and the motor itself.

I dont have an issue yet but i might order up one now.

I bought that same gear from odometergears.

It definitely did the trick and I was very happy with it.

I think there is a TSB out about this. You might want to take it to the dealer to see if they will repair.

^that almost sounds more like something like a coin jammed in the track itself

That's what I thought when it happened to me. It was the gear on one side.
