HOW EASY TO CHANGE BRAKE PADS?????

I was wondering if it's difficult to change the brake pads on the G if I bought the pads myself. Or should I just take it to the dealer?? Is there anything that I need to pay close attention when changing them??

Shouldn't be hard at all. About 15 minutes per side if you don't have to turn the rotors. It should just take removing one bolt, lifting the caliper up, removing old pads, pushing piston in all the way and placing new pads in. Then place the bolt back in, tighten and enjoy. If your car is new enough, you probably don't have to turn the rotors. I would say if less than 5,000 miles. If not, have them turned, this way they'll be perfectly flat against the new pads. Remember to use an anti sueal conpound on the new pads. I use the spray kind as it goes on thin and smooth. The one in the squeeze packet globs up and its crap. Could cause you to end up with a mushy pedal.
