Question Noise from behind dash when Slip indicator is lit

Anyone else notice a rather ugly noise from behind dash when Slip light is activated?
I never noticed it when driving a 2005 G35x loaner, but it is quite apparent on my 2005 G35. Sounds like a grinding buzzer type noise. Very annoying.

That might be the ABS unit working in conjunction with the VDC.

The control unit for the VDC is in the dash, must have something to do with the noise.

The noise means the VDC is working. You can turn it off if you prefer silence over saftey

It's to alert you that the VDC is working properly.
It may be annoying, but it's preventing something even more 'annoying'.

Normal.
