HID fogs

Before you say, "use the search button!" I've already used the search and only found pictures and DIY's.
Now that that's said, does anyone know which fog light kit I have to get to make them HID's?
And will it work for high beam as well?

Why pair HID fogs with halogen headlights?

Lookup your foglight bulb and get that. Foglight is dual filament. One is for foglight and the other filament is aftivated when you turn the high on. Basically when you do the hid foglight the foglight will be a hid bulb(my case 3000k) and when you hit high it activates another bulb attached to the base of the hid and the other bulb is not a hid it looks like a h1 or a 01007. Thats how mine is

So what bulb do you have? Or better yet, what HID kit do you have with what bulb?

Assuming your fog is a 9003 bulb:

Any don't forget to check the forum vendors. Statik sells kits too if I'm not mistaken.

Now that I know where to buy them, I need some opinions. Which color temperature do you think is best for fogs? Debating between 3000k and 8000k. My headlights have 8000k's in them.

Which color do you like more? I'd probably go for 3000K but it's up to you.

I would do Ddmtuning.com. They have hi/Lo kits and I believe still have a lifetime warranty on them. I personally would never go over 5k, but that is me.

Everytime I order from there, it takes like 2-3 weeks for my product to come in. I also I heard that if you buy the hi/lo for the fogs, it makes eyelashes on the illumination. I don't know if this is true or not. The reason I'm asking temperature wise is because I don't like the look of the yellow, but I don't know... Might just grow on me.

Hopefully someone will chime in that didn't get the "eyelashes". If they do, with pics, ill buy them right away (assuming they aren't crazy priced).

what you need is a bi-xenon conversion kit if you want to retain high beam.

they usually a lot more expensive than regular $30 kits.

also make sure the kit has a relay.
