Why is the 03 so much better than the newer ones?

I have a05x love it! When Im on 81 going home to Tenn the x just performs flawlessly! Doing 80 and slightly push the pedal down she goes! Handles the Dragon no problem.Cant complain how it performs! I dont think I will get a new g.Just dont want to spend the money.I dont need nav and some of the technology they put in them.I was an audi owner until I drove a Infiniti. Audi gave you dual climate controls. The copilot is two feet away what sense does that make. When I got the x it felt as good as the quattro on the road with alot more ponies under the hood!I like the new Infiniti's but I love my first gen!!!!

Ah, the button to cycle has never been something I've ever thought about, but I guess I've never seen one without dual climate

Your car is so clean with such low miles for 2003. Please do us all a favor and don't drive it during the winter month. Its getting tough to find these first gens as clean as yours. Take good care of it. I like the red, but the Ivory Pearl is the best color for the g35 imho.

Car and Driver most recent issue on the new Q50: it's a luxury, tech car, NOT a driver's car. That conclusion says it all. To compete with the German import, Nissan has taken the wrong path of dressing up the Q (G) with luxury and tech packages. This was not the reason that Nissan has sold a ton of G in this country. Most people bought it because the price used to be reasonable and was a driver's car. Nissan has already made mistake of marketing the M, which was a very poor design for a step up from G. Very few people bought the M.
Now they are messing with success by marketing the Q eventually to replace the G. I, for one, would not buy the Q even though I have the means. When big business make a mistake, they make a BIG and expensive one.

I'm wanting something a little different after 10 years and 101K miles.
A little different form factor. Unfortunately, Infiniti doesn't have quite the configuration I want. The closest is a little too small, and the mileage is still on the poor side. Of course, the closest Infiniti has a lot of power for the size
