Clutch Question

Not in the sport of arguing or anything, but what you wrote is the complete opposite of what I was saying. You cant properly 'ride' the clutch in this car because you have no working room in the engagement point.

Theres a little bit of room on mine to "ride" the clutch. But pretty sure like everybody elses, it catches almost all the way up. did you adjust the clutch pedal? that might be why.
No adjustment here, the engagement in the pedal is almost right at the top, and the actual engagement is only about 1-1.5" of pedal stroke. Hence, no 'room to play'.
And I've never driven a car that you can just dump the clutch out and it will go, unless the idle is set too high, or the clutch is smoked. In fact, the only car I've ever driven that does it, when cold (high idle), is the G. I can release the Clutch in1st without touching the accellerator, but that's because the Idle is up around 1000 RPM when cold, and it's a very torquey motor.
