How long will a special order take?

I'm planning on special ordering a G35 sedan with lakeshore slate and graphite interior. Normally they don't come with graphite interior. I talked to the dealer and he said anywhere from 1 to 3 months....does that seem normal. Has anyone special ordered one? And how long did it take?

So you can get the slate with Graphite? I didn't know the factory would do such a thing...

My dealer said (Grubbs) said Slate and Graphite was a no go. I'd be surprised if you ended up with that combo. Best of luck to ya...

BTW - I ordered my Slate/Stone/6MT on Dec 1 and its scheduled to arrive Feb 20th. You may be able to grab one that is already being build and get your car faster as I picked just about the worst time to order an '05.

You can order the graphite or the stone interior with the Lakeshore Slate in Canada.
We had a graphite interior on order and changed to the stone.
You can get colors here you can't get in the US. Like you can get graphite or stone with Ivory Pearl for example, etc..

The LS car you saw posted with graphite was a Canadian G35.

Yes , like in the sedan you can get graphite interior in every color but serengeti sand.
Check the canadian infiniti site: http://www.infiniti.ca/eng/models/g35/index.html

i've attached the colour options from the canadian brochure. strange... i would have thought the options would be the same. doesn't make much manufacturing sense to screw around like that.

It is wierd that they have a difference. I know Nissan Canada and Nissan USA do the same thing, cause I noticed that with my Maximas. There are always other little differences in trim options. You would think it would be the same in both places.
