I had the exact same problem recently and expected to replace the entire assembly (I had done this previously about 50K miles ago because it was the only option then), however, the dealer here in San Diego said that Infiniti recently made the replacement of the bushings themselves an option and that there was no reason to replace the entire compression rod, so just the bushings were replaced at a fraction of the cost.

Damn you got ripped off. The oem lower control arms go for like 200 on ebay. And labor should be like 100-200

I found these parts. The Ebay deal seems like a steal for 2 of them for $280, but the conceptZ parts are going for $230 each side. Anyone have any experience using either?

Also on this page I was able to find other suspension parts. I'm hearing a noise from the back as well so I'm thinking of grabbing the rear stabilizer links.

I'm thinking of purchasing the control arms as well.. just to have everything new in there.

The ones from eBay are aftermarket and the ones from conceptz are Oem. They might be worth a try as the Oem ones obviously aren't that good. As for the endlinks, I just bought some moog for the front. They are supposed to have zerk grease fittings and might be verdure than Oem. I'll take photos compared to stock when I get them.

I saw them at amauto on eBay for $80 each. Yes, they are new. Rockauto has them as low as $52 each side, not sure what shipping would be.
