Looks like a good track car candidate.

to put it on the track wouldn't i need some decent suspension and slicker tires? even though it'd be a bit risky. haha

so I just drove around in circles down my street. about 5 counter clockwise and 5 clockwise. I started to get dizzy and the compass still blinks. so that didn't work.
and my pasaanger seat heating pad doesn't work either!
the button lights up and all when you press it. but the seat doesn't get hot. great.

hmm. not sure.
it just blinks. and the "comp" button is jammed down. so maybe it is always stuck on reset. I need to make it pop out.

so today I was gonna order the driver air bag from ebay(thinking it was 70$+12$ clips)
but then I couldn't find one for 80$.
the cheapest was 200$
I was bummed out.
then I found a whole set, seat belts, air bag and dash for 700$
but it was gray!
and I just looked up the front crash sensor. it's 200$. oh crap.
does anyone know where to get the driver airbag for less that 200$?

and does anyone know if I have to replace the clock spring for the airbag? or will it be attached to the new airbag?

I really just wanted to replace the driver airbag. so it didn't look to bad.
I am gonna glue it from the inside and plastidip the top till it looks clean.
that'll hold me off till I can pay the 700$ for a black dash kit.

Clocksprings are usually the connection between the steering wheel and column. The airbag usually plugs into this so I don't think it will come with it.

I hate to say this because I'm all for fixing up cars and getting them back to running shape, but when your car is all said and done, would you have spent the same amount of money as buying an $8K G35 in good shape and not having to worry about all this parts chasing and fixing of stuff? I mean your time is $$ too

I had another question but I forgot.
and yea. you're right idk about 8k.
maybe just 1500$ to gather everything. then my time to install it.
but I do agree with you.

Where are you located? Please dont plasti dip. Get SEM flat black interior paint. If you painted a gray dash with that nobody would be able to tell it isnt stock, the color and texture look oem black once painted, I know first hand since I painted some interior parts in my car. Can costs like $15 online

yup!
next I plan to align the front end up.
the hood isn't flush with the fenders or the headlights.
from a distance it looks clean. but when you get close up, you can tell how off it is if you pay attention.

also, the chrome grill between the hood has water stains. it's lost it's bling lol.
I was thinking re doing chrome but online I saw that spray chrome doesn't work.
so maybe satin black?

oh yea. I forgot about that paint.
will the dash feel rough or look to glossy?
because on a civic I had a while ago, it had a black dash but it used to be gray and the dash didn't look primer, but it felt rough.
