Open diff upgrade

Hi guys, im new to the forums and my name is Harjas, i am 21 and currently in the process of building a g35 sedan drift car. I have owned many cars this year, and mostly nissans

Now before i start to get flamed, i have searched many hours before joining this forum and i had a simple question what exactly do i need to upgrade my stock open diff to a vlsd the car is an 03 6mt, why a vlsd? because i can shim it and it will be a quiet inexpensive solution to getting sideways and i have found one in a scrap yard going for 500 also it has been done on many 240s and i know that the g35 vlsds are bigger and built alot stronger so shimming should not be an issue.

Thanks in advance
-Harjas

Btw mod list
-HSD coilovers
-Aem intake
-Borla catback
-double din conversion

MODS TO COME
-LSD/shimmed vlsd
-plenum spacer
-procharger this summer
-cage
-remove cats or high flow

Just replace the entire differential, as long as the flanges are the same its a direct swap.

The only difference is the flange that connects to the driveshaft. Some have 3 bolts and others have 4.
