My G35 stalls after a warm up start. It doesn't happen frequently although i would want to know the problem is to prevent it. I would have to rev the engine a bit so it won't stall. This is the 2nd VQ35DE engine I've had that does this. Has anyone else incurred this issue? What were your resolutions?
My G is serviced (5w-30 Full Synthethic) every 6 months (December & June) and i do add STP additives on my pump gas (Premium-93). It is also under 100k miles.

I'm having the same issue. Got a new TB installed by dealer. New platinum tip spark plugs, engine air filter, oil change and fuel Induction cleaning. Still stalls at warm start. Any advice?

How many miles on the car Echinery? This is one of the symptoms displayed when the crankshaft/camshaft position sensors start to go. The other symptom of these, which is what I experienced, is the car takes several times to start. If you have 100k+ miles I think that is a good route to look, even if not the problem those sensors are problematic and are probably on borrowed time (however mine lasted 148k).
It may be useful to hook up a code reader and see if you have any 'pending' codes too.

I have 149k on the car. I did hook up obd scanner, no pending codes. But real time stats show fuel system running in open loop due to system failure.... Right around when the idle drops to 500 and eventually stalls.

Dealer said sensors on the crank and cam were fine but recommended replacing MAF. Looking at roughly $800 parts and labor.Originally Posted by cvipgo
replace the 2 camshaft position sensors.

Did you try to get code when car is idling around 500? replace the 2 camshaft position sensor as you have high mileage Originally Posted by Echinery

I kept searching for codes but none cane up. Will the crank and cam sensors cause fuel system failure?Originally Posted by cvipgo

So you guys are saying replacing both camshaft sensor will solve my stalling issues? Keep in mind I keep seeing fuel system running in open loop due to system failure......

Drove the car for about an hour this afternoon. It idled funny at a light then when i got home, it stalled in park. So frustrated. I have an appointment at the dealer tomorrow to diagnose.

Anyone 'clean' their maf ever? with maf cleaner?
now I dont want to suggest a witch hunt, because I DO NOT KNOW the design of the G35 MAF...but, this was something I figured out on my 96 altima, and 2 separate 95/96 240sx's:
