The first one isn't really a mod but more asthetic. Long story short got a cheap replacement mirror that is black on one side. I can't decide wether to paint it back to desert platinum. I am going to tint my brake lights and black roof my sedan. What should I do.

Also my buddy has an hks muffler he's willing to part with for cheap ~$100. Is it worth just the muffler or should I wait and do the whole thing? Not really looking for more hp, just sound tbh.

 

Just do it right and just get the full exhaust. It will just sound better.

Exhaust- Sir you drive a Infiniti G35 not a Honda Civic... if you want to do muffler replacements buy a rice burner. As BlueDevil said- wait for the full complete exhaust system.

If you are asking what mods to do, tell us a price range your wanting to spend ill shoot out the first few mods in my opinion.

 

I was asking if changing the muffler is worth the change in sound, but it seems like it is not worth it.

The only mod I have is tuning the engine to '05 specs. I am not really into mods but am putting a black roof on it.

 

If it is the Hks rear section with dual tips, it is definitely worth it. You will be lucky to get 5 HP from exhaust without a tune, and then you lose low end torque, so go for it. If you have an 05+ you have the smaller resonator. If you have the 03-04 you have the larger resonator and will benefit more from swaping for a coupe mid pipe. The 05 can benefit also, but not as much. if you end up not liking the Hks you can sell it later for a profit. I believe they are around $450 new.

I would modify your car as you see fit. You have to drive it every day and live with how much money you throw away by modding it.

 

I will give you $150 right now for the HKS! I went with a coupe mid-pipe and then finally got the full exhaust... Like 5150 said, its up to you.. I get comments all the time about how loud my exhaust is, some are good and some are bad... Your car should be a reflection of who you are and I am REALLY LOUD!!

 

It's not dual tip! But it doesn't look bad under my car from what I can see. I don't care about hp benefit I already have a problem with speeding.

I never considered modding my car as I live in Chicago and have a bicycle and motorbike that are way easier to use for transportation.
