This is the only pic I got from under the Hood. I'm hoping to get some more if I get a chance to go to the tow yard.

I'm pretty sure since the light was yellow the insurance is gonna claim wewe're at fault. So our rates are going to get jacked up pretty good.

Well the verdict it is in, a body shop and the insurance adjuster both concur that the frame got bent on both sides of the engine and quoted over $9k to fix it.
So now I get to fight the insurance to get reimbursed for all my parts (kinetix V+ plenum, injen cold air intake, double din kit with kenwood DVD player, Megan racing oe-rs exhausting y-pipes, cf wrapped interior, jdm clear markers...)
They were in the far left lane coming the other way there was a truck in the opposite left turn lane right next to where they came from, the witness car was on the other road and knew the girl that hit my wife, but they were the only car to stop and be the witnesses.

Good luck with ya fight bro.. Well, u know the witness is not going to go against the girl since they know one another... All the add-ons look to be about 3 grand. I think u might have to know some type of proof to get a total cost. Start searching the net and print out the price that is listed on the website.. this way u will have some type of proof that the add-ons cost that much.

Yeah I looked it all up and it looks like they will only give me up to a grand so I'm going to have to take most of it off, luckily I kept almost all of the stock parts, but I more than likely will have to leave the exhaust (it was only 5 days old! Poor thing) but I should be able to get the kinetix plenum and injen cai intake off of it. We'll see though. Probably have to leave the cf wrapped center console and kenwood dd too
I already found a replacement g35 though! Lets all hope that it works out for the best.

Went today and got almost everything off the car that I could. The insurance payed us 9500 for the car and then a grand for my exhaust, radio kit, and suspension. So I was able to get my injen intake off of the car as well as my kinetix racing plenum as well as some other misc. stuff.
So I walked away from the car at just over $10k from the insurance company (they took the deductible out of $500) and my wife and I found a 2004 silver base model for about $4500 under book value.
It has just hit 135k miles and was owned by a nice old guy who kept it in his garage most of the time when he wasn't out golfing. There is almost nothing wrong with it so my wife and I are very happy with the outcome, I still wish I had my sport model with all of its cool features but I'll get over it someday.
I'll be posting pics soon.
