Multiple Problems with My 04X

I have multiple issues with my car and have reseached all of them thouroughly prior to making this thread. I have listed them in order of annoyance.

1. After the car get warm there is a hissing noise from the engine bay when the car is sitting and idling(will update with a video after I get out of work this morning). It sounds like a vacum leak or something of that nature, but I cannot pin point where it is coming from. This started after I took it to the carwash and sprayed under the hood to clean it up a little bit.

2. I had a hung caliper on the left rear and changed the caliper rotor and pads for that corner a couple of weeks a go. A soon as I pulled out fo my friends garage I had BRAKE/SLIP/VDC light on the dash. The brake fluid is full and this does not affect the performance of the brakes.

3. The airbag light is blinking a steady blink in 1 sec interval. This showed up after we pulled the seat to weld the seat braket after it broker for the second time. I thought the braket broke due to my being a big guy 6'5" and about 325lbs, but apparently it it pretty common for our cars.

I only want to get these issues fixed because we will be selling the car due to the arrival of twins in May/June. It not really feasible to get three car seat in the G(We already have a 4 yr old).

Any info you be greatly appreciated, thanks.

1. Don't know don't care.

2. Either you damaged the wheel speed sensor, the ABS rotor ring, or they could both just be dirty.

3. Obviously you either left the key on or cycled the key while the seat was unplugged.

Recall is for the passenger seat, but I seem to believe he removed the driver's seat. If that's the case, it won't help him any.

There is the driver's seat airbag that is tied into the system. Verify you plugged the harness for this back in. It may be separate from the main seat power harness

For #2, verify the ABS wheel speed sensor was not unpluged, damanged, bent or otherwise "hurt".

3. After you confirmed all wires are connected you can do a manual reset for the air bag light.

The airbag light reset does not fix my flashing airbag light in my 05'X...I've never taken out any seats or otherwise touched the airbag system.
I've never changed just one pad... that would make my car unhappy too.

Have you had the airbag recall performed? If not, you might want to look into that.

Thanks dealership... I'm just learning of this now even though I went in just last month to get scanned for a wheel speed sensor. Scary.
