Nismo Front Bumper for 04 Sedan

This may be a stupid question, but one I have to ask. Does the Nismo front bumper hang down much lower than the factory style front bumper (with out factory body kit)? I like the nismo bumper but do not really wan't a full kit. Does anyone have this bumper on there sedan, if so please post pics. I would like to get the bumper but I do not want it to hang lower than my factory side skirts.

Yes, it does hang down lower by about that much. The reason I know is because I have it and now that I go up my driveway I scrape where as before I wouldn't =)

How do you think it would look without installing a complete bo kit?

you should put all 4 pieces on...front, both sides and rear. I heard you should get a killer deal now if the dealers still have them.

If you just put the front bumper on, then you should paint the side and rear black plastic to the car's color...check out Gurgen's car. His G looks sweet.

Maybe, Maybe not. I saw two loaners at Frontier with the kits on them. My service guy said they put them on as they didn't want the kits hanging around taking up space.

The Nismo kit and the factory Aero Kit are one in the same, correct ?

EverythingG35 has the Aero kit for $1949 painted/shipped:

http://infinitipa.zoovy.com/product/3PICEAERO

I tried talking to the dealer about any future possibility of discounting the exisitng Aero Kit (they chage like 3k for them) because the 05 has much of it integrated .....but he just chuckled and said "it doesn't work like that".

So if any of you hear about dealers blowing them out...post here and let us know.

$1949 is a pretty good price. Try asking your local dealership to match that price and see what response you will get.

I just put my aero front bumper on this Sunday. Got it off eBay for $760 shipped from Quirk Infiniti – don’t know if they have any more to sell. Took me about 4 hours to install by myself. Probably would have taken 2-3 hours if I had an extra set of hands. I agree, it hangs down slightly more than the stock bumper. I have the front splash guards, so it’s hard to tell it’s uneven. I’ve decided to order the aero side sills to go with the bumper, just to complete the look. I ordered them from Grubbs for $663.99 shipped.

Agreed. If you go with bumper only, paint the sides and rear to match the car's color.

Right now my sedan has the side sills and the rear piece but not the bumper. The grey strip at the bottom of the bumper just doesn't look right. Makes my car look incomplete. I purchased the Stillen Chin Spoiler, I just need to have it installed.

PS - Stay away from the replica parts as I have heard they are very poor reproductions.
