hey everyone... been getting a weird pedal vibration or grinding feel in my brake and throttle pedals here and there...happens about once a day or so. i have no idea what it could be and im kind of worried... anyone know what it might be? usually happens when i start the car up after its been sitting a while i have noticed. any comments will be really appreciated, thanks in advance!!

 

anybody? i need to know what i might be looking at damage wise...?

 

If it only happens after you start the car and get up to around 10mph it's perfectly normal. It's the ABS system performing a self-test. Don't sweat it!

 

thanks man!! i was freakin out, i just bought the car not too long ago and have already found a couple problems, so i was about to go nuts if there was something else....good to know!!

im on my work computer so it wont let me listen to that video. So, as soon as i leave i will check it out and hopefully its the same sound haha.... maybe this might help too, its a really quick sound (maybe 1/2 second) and then dissapears until the next day or every once in a while it does it again the same day..soooo idk but i can definetly feel the vibration and hear a sound for that 1/2 second.

 

Yeah if your foot's on the brake pedal it will shake really hard. Freaked me out the first time I felt it.

 

okay cool, checked the noise and its the same one. yeah, it was a little concerning haha
