Projector retrofit- Ebay headlamps?
#16
I'd just get the aftermarket lights. I retrofitted my current OEMs maybe 2 years ago and while they're still working perfectly in terms of waterproofness (is that a word?) and bixenon operation, the lenses aren't perfect which drives me crazy. And restoring lenses doesn't really work in my experience. I tried restoring the lens on another set of G35 lights and while the lens may look good during the day, when you turn the lights on, it's obvious it isn't really clear.

You're a wealth of infomation acr, thanks again. I would've loved to do this myself but as it is, i have zero time lately, those dark country back roads keep making me nervous- I'm having a local shop do this for me. Just Lexus RX's with the TSX clear lenses in the low beam. They should be here Tuesday or so, ordering the lamps tomorrow so hopefully I should be good (less the satisfaction of doing this myself) in two weeks or so.
Crazy but it seems my 02 maxima reflector hid's were a lot better at putting light out than the G's.
