Opinion please - should I or should I not paint my Carbon Fiber hood?

Here's how I painted mine back when I had a Stillen. Had to go back, way back to find these pics.

Tim, thanks for coming in here. The paint looks good. When you let me drive that car when I lived out your way, those were good times.... I can't get rid of the car, but maybe its time to unload this SC'r. How hard is it to go back to stock???

Still not decided....

1. Uninstall SuperCharger and put stock hood back on....

2. Paint hood

3. Clear cote hood.


If I go route one, then I'll want to uninstall it and sell it. If There was someone here in the Louisville area thats interested in it and the hood and want to buy it cheap, I'll sell it... but I'll want someone to uninstall it, reinstall the stock equipment and then still pay for the SC'r.

is that a retrofit on the lights or did you buy them like that?

OP i say just re clear if money is not an issue paint and blend the fender and bumper

how about
4. sell Stillen SC/Hood, get stock hood with Vortech SC. more power and an unassuming stock hood.
