Go over to the house and kick the car off the blocks for good measure.

Did you inform the police department that the lugs were changed after you saw them (and the stuff about the car history) ?
Yep, I sent them the pictures of the car I took last Tuesday night which included close-ups of both wheels/tires on the passenger side that clearly show at that time the car had regular lug nuts on it. Now I'm just as curious as to what will happen to these shady mfers as I am what will happen to my wheels.

Apparently you are not nearly as good of an actor as you led yourself to believe.

Wow! I knew those sellers were sketchier than they led you to believe.

People just aren't easy to trust in this day and age...It's a real shame how little you can trust people now

Hopefully the insurance company doesn't take advantage of you, I love those wheels

Tell the owners, they can either take the locks off or they can arrange to have the wheels taken off by removing the A-arms and spindles they are attached to.

Insurance company has the rights to the wheels right now, but if you contact them, they might cut you a deal to buy them back. The less work they have to do, the more money they save.

But good to see they got caught.

PDQ Saw with a big carbide blade makes a much greater visual impact

Thanks man I love them as well. They were my signature look and rare enough you don't see many of them anywhere. There was a supercharged LS sedan in California for sale that had the same wheels a month ago or so. Looks like it's still for sale, freaky if you ask me, wish I had his SC. http://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-s...Index=13&Log=0

It's an honor to have you be a part of the madness. I still think about my trip out there in '11 every time I'm pulling pictures and run across this one of your little man, bet he's not so little any more.

lololol but the wheels are in the hands of the police as of yesterday morning. Makes me laugh to think of that POS car on blocks in their driveway..........

If the buyback from a totaled car is about the same for buying back recovered wheels, I think you might get them back for cheap. Since the insurance company really can't do anything with them. Hopefully for like 10% of the payout.
