Guess I picked a bad day to quit smoking the rock
Effin' awesome, I only hope you bring a recording device with you when you go to get them back.
I'm not going to lie, whether the cop says they're yours or not, if you know they're yours I'd be getting them back one way or another.
And about the good people radar, don't always trust it. I've seen puppy mills, car thief's and scam artists all use "good people" that they know to sell stolen/bad goods. These people might not have stolen your wheels and tires, but I bet they know more than you think.

Wheels were stolen what? June 13th?
So thats 2.5 months right? Have you run a carfax to see if there is any info regarding when the car was registered to the current owners? Curious to see if they did aquire the car after the wheels were stolen, or owned it before. Carfax usually has registration/inspection data.

Wow Tim, that's amazing!
Two great things to come of this:
1) You found your wheels, yay!
2) I don't have to be bored at work because I can follow this thread

wtf, i didn't even see that part hahaha.....i think these people actually are trying to wheel and deal this car...in a bad way
You can go to vsvin.info if you want a free vin check. Even if the family isn't in on it, they're still trying to sell the G as a gas saver. Sounds like you should just steal the wheels back. No one would expect it.
Wow amazing...... what are the chances of these wheels to be stolen from a G35, and then put on another G35, and to be sold in the same city? Whoever did this is asking to be caught.....
Glad you found your stolen wheels, hope you get them back!

Congrats! Well if the car owners claim ignorance (because they are partly at fault), you can just get the wheels back and they would be out the wheels. If they are innocent, it would be of interest to them to advise where they got the wheels from or who they bought the car from

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods

So far no news from the popo. lol at all of the responses so far, keep them coming. I did get a text from the girl this afternoon and she/her dad have come down $300 more in the price so now they're offering it for $6600 and wanted to know if I was interested at that price. Let's me know the police haven't been there yet. So hang on to your hats we'll hear something relatively soon I would suppose.
