Yep I'm pretty happy that my research led me to these. You're right about the wheel pic, farther away shots don't show the design very well and it's an important part of the look. Plus the wheels give the impression they are larger than they are by having the spokes come out to the rim like my previous wheels did as well. They definitely are suitable replacements for the Gravis1's and I think they flow really well with my car as it sits. I don't they'd look this good on a stock height G and they have plenty of clearance for my BBK. Got to get the spacers back on and then it's photoshoot time woo hoo!

Did you buy those from American Muscle.com?

I can't believe how good those Saleen replicas look on your G35! I would have never suspected such a nice fitment

Did someone say fitment lolol??? Added back my 5mm spacers this morning and the result is very nice. And yes I know, my exhaust is dirty so shoot me.

Nick, I saw the American Muscle versions but went with Wheel Replicas because they are local to me here in Houston and I didn't like the American Muscle centercaps, mine are more anonymous which I like. And fitment is just wheel diameter, width, offset and tire size. These just happened to fit every parameter I wanted which is one of the reasons I bought them.

That's a spot on fitment IMO

Thanks for the kind words, I've gotten surprisingly little flak here for putting Stang wheels on my G..........

Probably because they look so damn good hahaha.

I think that's what makes it look good. If it was a stockish G35, it wouldn't look anywhere near as good. Even stock brakes wouldn't look good. The whole package just works together.

I have a set of 17" chrome mustang wheels similar to those that I've been wanting to widen to 10" for the rear before I put them on. For the hell of it I put them on one day. Good looking wheel...but stock G35 ride height and brakes.....It didn't really go together well.

Thanks Mustang, I don't know if I could be any happier right now. I feel like a 6 year old that just got the Christmas present he's been waiting for all year.

Wow, I've been off for a while, and just found your thread. I read the whole thing - at first I was sick to my stomach, but it had an incredible ending! Great choice on the new wheels indeed, they look awesome!

Congratulations Tim, wheels look and you're running my favorite tires! The ride has to be better with the 18" since you're using a higher profile....Gary

The wheels that were stolen off of Tim's car were 19's. These are advertised as 20's.... however I personally wouldn't mind a closer inspection of this car to determine if they are his or not.

Tim, shoot me a text if you wanna go and check these out. I'll bring the .45 just in case.

The offset of those wheels is way off. Check out the pic taken from above. They look very sucked in front and rear.
