Tim's car is one of the most well known rides on this forum. Surely, if someone was to slap those wheels on their ride it would stand out big time. I for one, am always on the road in the LA area and i can always spot a modded g from a mile away. btw Tim, glad to hear nothing else was taken and good to see your car on some rubber again.

Wayne you hit the nail on the head, that's why this was such a punch in the gut. But mark my words I'll find another set no matter how long it takes.

Look for them to be plasti-dipped black to try to hide the look.

Good luck
Unfortunately no, the Gravis1s have been discontinued for 6 years and I've checked with over 20 retailers and no one's carried them for a long time. Thanks for the link though, good looking out.

Yep had 5zigen splined locks. Waiting on Gorilla Guards to arrive today, hope they offer better resistance to theft.

Jesus man... My stomach dropped into my ***** when I saw those photos on the first page. I'm glad that insurance is helping you buy new ones. Interested in seeing feedback on the new locks-

Fortunately, I have cheap wheels but if I'm going to make that kind of investment I'll want to use the right tools.

I have cheap stock 18" sport wheels that were stock on my 05 6mt Sedan and still made a $14.xx investment to secure my wheels. I don't think it matters how expensive or how cheap. No one wants to come out to their car on bricks and deal with the down time and the expense.

Damn, decided to log on for the first time in over 6 months and this is what I come back to. Hate to see stuff like this happen. What part of Houston are you in? I haven't heard of any wheels disappearing, but I live out in the 'burbs.

Hope you find a new set. Let me know when you decide to get rid of those Coupe 18's. I've been looking to replace a couple of mine with some in better shape.

i believe you must occupy the vehicle being violated for "Texas Castle Doctrine" to be enacted and thus justify the use of deadly force. you can always plant a weapon on the perp (LAPD style haha). then its more black and white in terms of the law (self defense)

Yeah, **** happens. I'm a big believer in karma and just wonder who I did so wrong that this is my punishment.

I'm in Spring and live in a nice neighborhood. Apparently several Gs were targeted around here lately according to the UPS man, he's seen 3 more of them on blocks in this area. As soon as I find another set of Gravis1's I'll let you know the 18's are for sale.
