Question Clicking Noise from Dash

So I have done quite a bit of searching and not found the problem that I seem to have. After I drive my car, 2005 6 mt g sedan, for about 25 miles I start to hear a clicking noise from what seems to be the driver side dash. It happens during engine braking and goes away when I push in the clutch. Has anyone experienced anything quite like this? Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I was able to troubleshoot a bit more on the way to work this morning a d here are my thoughts:
- it started to happen about 3 miles from home today, probably enough to warm up, but I don't think that makes a difference
- it happens both on acceleration and deceleration. Not hard acceleration, just normal driving
- I don't have to push the clutch all the way in to make it go away, just apply some pressure and it stops

It almost seems like something in the clutch is loose. I checked the master cylinder and everything looks good. I'll try to get under the dash tonight. Also probably take a look at the slave cylinder. I do also have the issue where I almost completely loose the clutch when it gets hot, but then it randomly comes back completely for short periods of time.

For what it's worth, I put a new clutch in the car about 10,000 miles ago and nothing looked abnormal in there. Most importantly this noise existed before the cultch replacement.

Thanks

I took a look under the dash and all I noticed was a slight bit of play in the clutch master cylinder actuator, but I'm not sure if that is normal. Hopefully this link to a video of the noise works:

From what I have read here on the forums you should get your motor mounts checked out. People notice things from dash popping to slamming/clunking noises from the suspension with this issue.

OP did you figure out what the problem was. I have a clicking noise that seems to be coming from behind my dash and goes away with slight pressure to the clutch pedal. Hard to troubleshoot, any help would be awesome.

I never did find a solution to this issue, but since the weather has cooled down it seems to have gotten better. If you find a solution please let me know.
