Coupe Spoiler on Sedan?

I tried to search for this but did not find anything. Sorry if I missed it.

I love the spoiler in the 03-06 G35 coupe. But I have a sedan (with no spoiler currently) and was wondering if I could buy a spoiler for a coupe and mod it to work on my sedan? I have not seen the spoiler up close so forgive me if this is a silly question. I understand I would need to tie the brake light in from the spoiler as the sedan didn't come with the brake light wiring, I would assume.

Has this been done or could this be done?

Do you also want the spoiler brake light?

yes, is possible. I assume your talking after market now, which is fine as long as it's the same as the coupe OEM spoiler.

The lines are not the same. It would have to be custom molded.

03-05 is the larger "whale tail". 06-07 got a smaller lip

Thanks for the reply Mustang, do you know of a "whale tail" after market spoiler for the sedan?

Check the classifieds. You may have to repaint it.

Just the OEM. It doesn't sit on the trunk, but it has a similar flared look to it.

I take it you don't want an OEM sedan wing?

If I had to I would. it's better than no spoiler. but I love that "whale tail" on the coupe. how it extends out past the trunk. very sporty and unique, I find the sedan one to be more "look I have a family, but still want to be hip and young" feel.

Custom molding is a good option but is very expensive

Theres a seller on ebay that makes trunk lips custom length to whatever length u want for 100 $ shipped and i believe comes painted. Its similar to the m3 lip but a lot thicker and a bit taller. I'm gonna order one soon. Here're a pic comparing it to a standard m3 style trunk lip

Here you go. You just gotta tell him the exact length and the color code. The length for a flush fit is 1167mm which is like 45". And give him your color code. I'm gonna order one soon as well. I got one for the roof recently.

Jorge, I just replaced my stolen trunk lip and I ordered one that's 1170mm. It fits flush with the edges when it's curved to follow the lines of the trunk.
