Do your rotational mass mods and gears. if your 05-06 do the idler pulley delete. go for lightweight pulleys/ underdrive pulley. Get an aluminum driveshaft, and then do gears the can will feel much faster and get the power down with less drivetrain loss. but remember shorter gears will make daily driving the car different and highway driving will not get the same miles per gallon.

In doing NO2, it's safe as long as you have a good tuner. Don't buy a "chip" or other such thing online for a nitrous tune. Make sure you get it dyno tuned. A 75 shot or 100 shot should be fine otherwise. A lot more bang for the buck than any other mod for 1/8 mile racing. If it's your daily driver, and you have a WOT switch, you might drain the bottles pretty quick. A fill can be $60+.

Just be careful, or you might blow the welds on your intake...

Other than the post quoted above, there is some terrible advice being handed out in this thread

Is this your daily driver? Or a 2nd car?

If it's your daily, i would recommend not installing it.

People act like n2o is dynamite or something.

If you do it properly and get tuned it wont just grenade unless you are a moron. One of my friends ran a 75 shot on his CVT maxima and had zero problems. Just dont be an idiot and get everything set properly.

My point was asking if he was being realistic and going to run a properly tuned 75-100 shot or some ridiculously high shot and harm the motor trying to make the car faster than it will ever be on n2o. But sometimes what he wants as an end result isnt worth putting the money into tuning and properly installing only a 75 shot. Some people dont even feel a 75 shot lol. If he wants to shave tenths off his 1/8 mile times then go for it. If you want time and space to warp around you ....well you may need 10,000 in overnighted parts from japan. lolz. I just dont think n2o should be in a daily driver period i had a bottle on my 96 GMC sierra all i had was problems with local police. dont yell at me storm trooper :P
