Consider a tune as well, I picked up a good amount of pep in my old X even with similar "breather" mods as you are planning. One of the best bang for the buck mods IMO

5/16 spacer, HFC and then tune. thats the order i did mines in and its decent.

i added rev-up airbox, Z tube randomly but those aren't performance mods. I guess you can also throw in a grounding kit for a non-performance mod.

Pair that up with coilovers and lightweight wheels and your rolling. I might want to get these AWD sways.

Spacer is the only engine mod that l will do.l just want alittle more power. I like the handling mods. I want a car that can handle the Twistys and curves under power! I'd rather have a car that can handle the curves and twist under power instead of a car that go fast in a straight line! The G just feels so good entering and exiting a curve with some speed behind it!

With that you said, i would spend more money to the handling and get the spacer LAST. There wasn't huge gain, almost nothing to write home about.

My coilovers made me very happy, followed by the tune and then the HFC ( mainly cause of the exhaust note it gives paired with the coupe mid)

You should do it. I was running insanely lean at times before the tune. Overall its not a KICK in the PANTS fast as upping the boost on turboed cars.

But it smooths out the power band very well and makes the car overall better to drive.
