X mods

I have a 05 x sedan the mods I plan on doing are 5/16 plenum spacer and z-tube.I guess these are the best bang for the buck.I also plan on sway bars.will coupe sway bars work on a x? I want a car that handles and will perform.I dont want a 500 whp car.Are the z-tube and spacer the best mods for a x sedan? Its has 86,000 on it so I dont want to mod it and destroy the engine.I hope the 2 mods I want to do are not hard on her!

z tube is always a good start. in regards to the spacer do you have a 6mt or 5at?

I believe all X's were 5AT in which case the spacer is an excellent mod. If I'm wrong and you do have a 6MT (and that's possible) then you have a revup and should get the MREV2 with said spacer.

Also X guys have pretty limited choices when it comes to suspension mods. I know they need specific Coilovers/Shocks. Just something to keep in mind when you get to the suspension stuff.

Coilovers for the X are BC Racing and Megan (what I hear ksport and dsport have some). As for sways, coupes will not fit it. Only one company had full sway and that is Hotchiks.

No, the AWD models do not get the rev-up motor, 5AT only and no limited slip differntials (not that you need them), or good fuel economy

But you get a kick *** AWD system

Coupe, Premium package, sport suspension
Sedan sway will fit. Eibach also has an adjustable sway for the AWD, but aftermarket sways will cost you more.

the rear sway will fit, but the front definitely will not. the only company that makes front and rear sways for the X is hotchkis. I have them on my X and they are awesome.

If you can upgrade your sway bars. On the X model they are zoo thin. Even the OEM sway bars on a Non X, you would feel the difference right away.
