anyone take apart their sunroof yet?

My sunroof has been acting up. Summer time i normally leave it open as i park in a garage. So one day i tried to close it as winter is coming and well it didn't close right, it gets 4/5 close and it hits the pinch protection thing and opens all the way. Kept playing with it and stopping every 10 minutes to prevent overheating. Finally got it closed.

Now it wont open, it binds at the same spot. But least its staying closed now, a lot better then stuck open. I can only tilt now.

I figure i need to clean up the tracks or something. Not paying the dealer for this. Its not a MUST fix for me but i would like to.

seems the only way to get to the tracks when its stuck closed is to tilt and remove the glass, haven't seen how easy the bolts are.

Download the factory service manuals to figure out how to do this!
