2005 g35 alarm

Okay so when I bought my g35 sedan about a month ago, I have had some problems with the alarm. The key didn't come with a key fob. So many many times since I bought the car. When I unlock the driver side door with the key, and i go to open the door. The alarm will go off. And I have no way of turning it off. I even let it sit with all doors unlocked until it goes off. Then as soon as I touch the handle, it goes off again. What is going on? Do I need to buy a key fob, would that fix the problem? Also I was told that the alarm shouldnt go off unless I set the alarm. But with no key fob, I have no control over it. What should I do?

I'm no expert, but believe that the alarm is set by locking the door and turned off by unlocking the door with the fob.

If you open it w/o the remote the alam will go off.

If you don't have a keyless start, fobs are pretty inexpensive and can be programmed easily. YouTube or other threads in the forum can walk you through the process.

Keyless start fobs need to be programmed by a dealer or locksmith and are more expensive.

I don't really plan on getting some aftermarket alarm or keyless Start. I'm just going to get a normal key fob. Thank you!

Some G's like mine start without sticking the key in. My car came with 1 fob and it was $175 to get a duplicate made at a locksmith. Dealer wanted twice the price.

If yours takes a key to start it then a factory fob should be cheap and easy to program, and fix the problem that you're currently having.

You really need to get some key fobs and program them to the car

Okay so I found out its not just a key fob. Today I was driving it and the car doors were all unlocked, I went to get out of the car and with me in the car, I opened the door and the alarm went off. THE CAR WAS STILL RUNNING. So I took it to Infiniti to check it out. Hopefully they can fix this problem. My neighbors are getting pissed haha
