Strange issue that I don't understand, I just installed a stillen cold air intake /z tube combo and MD plenum spacer. Now when I run through the car wash that I always go to, when I get to the end where the high powered blower /dryers click on, the car stalls and I have to restart. Why would that possibly cause the car to die now after my mods?

Not sure, but it sounds like it can be solved by washing your car at home.

Maybe it stalls out because your MAF recognizes crazy airflow (g/cm^3) when you don't press the throttle?

I was thinking the same thing the engineer mentioned. In for results.

I would have to venture to guess that the air dryers are somehow forcing air into your new intake system in such a way that causes the car to stall out.

If you want to confirm, put the stock setup back and see if the issue stops.

Chekc your filter also to make sure it's not getting soaked by water being blow in.

do you have the car running during the car wash?

That does sound like a good reason to why it might stall. I'll have to test the theory. There is no water getting in, everything is dry.

Joedaddy - yes car is running. It's one of the washes where your tires are on a track and the car is in neutral and it's being pulled along the line
