Possible Limp mode with no SES light

Driving to work today, and the only difference between every other normal day innNorth Texas is its effing freezing cold today. 10 degrees. Well all of a sudden my car won't accelerate past 2200 RPM, it bounces off that point like hitting a rev limiter. Also theidle is super jacked. It is idling at 1100 RPM in drive at a stop light. If I throw it in Park, the ideal is bouncing around between 400-1000 and feels like it may stall. But no SES light which is bizarre. Any clue to where I should start diagnosing?

Reading some old threads, seems like MAF issue. The only clue I can think of is Friday I ran through an auto car wash and got to the end where the high powered blowers /dryers kick on and that made the car stall. I wonder if it's blowing way too high speed air into the K&N filter and since it's new filter the oil blows off and coats the MAF causing this issue. I might clean the MAF and replace back to stock airbox and see if it resolves anything

Do you have a scan tool to monitor live data? Sounds like it could be the MAF. Try unplugging the MAF and start the car. It should turn all the lights on, but will still run. You won't be able to rev it that high though. You could try buying some CRC MAF cleaner to see if it helps.

MAF's are pretty expensive though and should be bought from the dealer. They're about 250-300 dollars. I have a brand new one that I never used, I can sell you though if it ends up being that, lol.

Could also be a cam sensor. Those tend to cause similar issues

After work, driving home and car was perfect, no issues. So strange... I cleaned the MAF anyway last night, I guess we'll see if it does it again.
