One thing you don't want to do is to paint them and seal them back up right away like most people do. You should atleast let the paint on the shrouds and housing cure for a few days to a week. Paint goes through a process where it gasses off. If you seal them back up right away, the headlights won't be able to properly gas off since it has no way of escaping. This is what leads to premature yellowing of the clear plastic on the headlights. It's also something that not alot of people think about. I see people paint lights and just seal it back up right away after the paint drys and you just can't do that. I got this great tip from HIDplanet.
Would love to see photos once everything is done. Did something similar, just with RX330 AFS projectors in the low beam. Did not come out as clean (projector is too damn big so bezels couldnt fully cover the projector) and the passenger side is cocked off slightly.

btw OP, second the eagle am-autoparts headlamps. Its what I used for my retrofit, still good a year later.

IMO i think all the after market headlights for the G sedan are hidious. I just ordered a set of halo/angel LED rings and i think they look fkn great. its different and sticks out with the luxury look and the same time with some sport to it

Isn't that a contradictory statement?

these arent cheap knock ones these are $200 with a lifetime warranty. i think they look alot better them those stupid after market racer looking ones. degrades the luxury vehicle IMO. everyone has different opinions but i bet if i park next to the same G with auro lights and mine with the rings 100% i get more compliments. like i said thats just my opinion
