04 headlights flickering... need a bit of help

It looks like the ballasts are going bad in both headlights, and I have a pretty nice leak in my subframe. I'll probably get some ballasts off ebay, and, unfortunately, get a new subframe. Thank you all for the help!

That makes sense. The ballasts are the weakest link in the headlight electronics chain.

GUYS GUYS GUYS.. google this i think theres a RECALL for this issue on the 1st gen and the 2nd gen. call the dealer and provide the vin to ur car and see if its been recalled if it is they'll replace it for free

I'd like to know if he fixed his problem. I'm about to order replacement bulbs and see if that corrects the issue too. If not, ballasts it is.

Its almost never the bulbs, just so you know. HID bulbs are meant to last nearly the life if the car.

I've had my OEM bulbs fail.

At one point, if i turned my headlights off, one would not relight unless i wanted 5 minutes. Replaced the bulb and issue solved.

No offense, but many parts on a car are "meant" to last, but don't. Let's just hope that it's just the bulbs!
