Seat Malfunctioning/Questions

My front driver's seat swivels to the left and right instead of pushing the seat forward and back. Any ideas of what the issue is? I was thinking that it was the seat rail that is bent? I haven't played with it because I was thinking of just ordering a used lower cushion assembly so that I don't need to look at the awful tear. Not sure how it disassembles, but do I need just the cushion? Thanks for any replies! New here and I'm trying to polish the turd.

Also, will a 05-06 Sedan seat cushion fit into the 04 Sedan seats?

More than likely your seat motor on one side needs a new plastic gear. They have a tendency to wear out over time. New ones can be fund at odometergears.com. Install is not too hard.

If you want to replace the cushion, then thats all you need. You will need to remove the surrounding panels on your seat. The cushion is held in place by push clips, and hog rings.

Also don't forget the screws that hold in the seat switch. You will need to unbolt your seat and tilt it back to get to those screws.

I will keep both in mind. I'm going to order the parts soon. Thanks to you both!
