Will be interested in seeing the outcome of this, my seats both heat up, (takes a while) but the passenger seat button does not illuminate, (found out it worked when i accidentally turned in on when my wife was in the car..she was like why is my A@@ on fire?) I have not bothered to trouble shoot it at all since i don't sit on that side of the car. LOL.

I do know it took 5 to 10 mins for it to get hot.

So the mechanic checked everything and some wires were unplugged in the console. Both seat heaters work I have a 2006 g35 sedan.

Just curious if you'd even use the seat heaters in Florida...

I haven't had this problem in either G35 yet but both of my G20's have. It's always the switch that keeps the heated seats from working on my G20's so I grab them out of Maxima's since the G20 is almost non existent in the yards anymore. Pretty easy to test with a multimeter right at the heated seat switch to see if you have power. Just because the light is out doesn't mean there is no power, the lights burn out on them pretty often too.

If you want to troubleshoot it, the service manual for the (sedan) seats is here:
http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/G37/Sedan/2010/SE.pdf

Stuck "on" I believe would indicate a bad switch. One seat only? Is the little indicator light glowing next to that switch?

it is only one seat. I’ll do the trouble shooting. The light is not on.

Yeah, stuck "on" is a weird one because I think there's a relay involved as well as temp sensors in each seat. Does the light come on if you turn the switch on?

Just to make it more confusing, here's your "Power & Ground" manual:
http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/G37/Sedan/2010/PG.pdf

Conceivably, you could simply disconnect the plug to the heater circuit under the offending seat...

There isn't a high limit temp sensor, the resistive heating elements are sized appropriately for the circuit. The first thing I would do is ensure the seats are actually turning on. Test with a thermometer, ir or otherwise during the coldest part of the day. After 15 minutes there will be a noticeable difference in temp between the two seats.

If it is stuck in the ON position I would start by disassembling the switches to see if something was spilled inside it that shorted the circuitry.

Sorry, what does "ex37 gt" mean? Is it a 2011 g37x maybe? 4-doors or 2? Here's the FSM for the seats of a 2011 sedan:
https://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/G37/Sedan/2011/SE.pdf

For that sedan, fuses involved are #K, #3, #10, #35, #53, Thing is, I think a blown fuse would mean neither side would work. If your passenger side is working correctly then more likely something has failed on the driver's side only. That manual can help you trace the fault.
