Anyone who says s-techs give a comfortable ride in real world (non track) daily driving is simply mistaken. And in this case they left the stock struts on, probably cannot align to specs, and camber issues.
Is you sedan equipped with the sport suspension or the non sport suspension?

I know someone who put 04 flaps on an 05 with no problems. Who told you they are different? The only difference from what I can tell is that the 05 are painted in entirety vs the top part on the 04 since the 04 didnt have painted sills and rear valence. I will be able to double check myself next week.

I have an 05 6spd Sedan. I believe the only suspension available is sport. I am on stock springs until winter ends though.

But for real, I've driven the car refered to in this post, & unless you have some very bumpy roads the S-Techs are pefect. I have owned a coupe & have driven several sedans both with S-Techs & Eibach coils. I would compare the ride in this sedan to that of the factory coupe (trust me there is a difference between the coupe & sedan suspension softness). The feel is almost exactly the same. It is a bit harded than a stock sedan but I think it a perfect upgrade.
I disagree and cannot recommend the s-tech for daily driving. Especially if you have passengers from time to time. You feel every single small bump and some of the bigger ones are spine tinglers. They look good but are too rough for daily driving IMO.

What struts are you using? Did you also cut your bumpstops?

i have full track pack strut and springs, and its still alot stiffer then S-Tech + G35 strut. even on 18" its not harsh.

after riding in my dad's car, abosutly NOTHING feels harsh. i've yet to sit in another car that's not coilover and its harsh as my dad's car.

I fully aggree with 350Z owners concerning the qualities of the oem 350Z suspension, in performance terms and most especially in ride and drive quality. The automotive press, having tested several Z's over the last couple of years most alway's mention's the words "harsh ride penalty" when talking about the car. I won't pin the "harsh" label in my description. They suffer from a lack of proper rebound control, allowing bounce and porposing on the freeway (where I agree with 350Z owners). This lack of valving precision can allow for suspension oscillation that tosses cold water on adheasion when you need it most. To it's credit, this doesn't cause any nasty surprises, just less hussle.

The 03-04 Borla exhaust fits the 05-06 models if you get the updated bracket kit.
