Help with coils

I have an 04 g35x and I was confused on how to adjust coils. I believe I was adjusting them with the top two collars when I realized I should be using the bottom one and turning the whole coil. My questions is is where should I adjust the top collars at? I'm guessing it basically adjust the tension of the spring. Any suggestions would be great. Also will adjusting the two top collars help with the bouncing or is that just the damper setting? Thanks again

I would go to the manufacturer website. They usually have instructions on there.
