Car got keyed. Good time to change the color! Help

Hi guys, I have a 05 g35 sedan that was recently keyed bad to the point I have to respray it. I've decided to change the color up so I just need help picking a color the sedan will look good in. I really like the 350z brickyard red and the bmw marrakesh brown. What do you all think will look good on a sedan? Thanks for all your input.

Also thoughts on keeping or removing door moldings?

Macadamia is also an option. Any thoughts on brickyard red?

I think if you go with an all black theme, brickyard would look nice. Couldn't find a sedan in brickyard but I found a coupe.

Love the color on the Porsche above!

Car getting keyed, everyones nightmare! I suggest you visit a dozen showrooms and find a color you like and visualize it on your sedan. I don't like big cars painted any shade of red, it only looks good on Gs and Zs...my opinion!

What are your thoughts on removing the door moldings?

Definitely remove the door moldings. They're only good for holding dirt against the paint of the door.

As for color, I've always been a fan of the non-metallic cement gray used on Scions. Generally all cars near that color are metallica and don't show the work into keeping them clean, but the lack of metal flake in it shows. Plus, being a factory color, any future repairs won't need a custom mix.

Search..."Debadge!"

Removing the door molding is a must when repainting your car! You could do it, comes off just like the trunklid letters/emblems...just takes longer...Gary

What colour is it now? It's a big job and expensive to change colours. It would look pretty silly if it was originally black and it was painted red with black door jams, sill plates, underside of hood & trunk lid, inner fenders, etc.

It comes off on sedans, but there's holes in the doors that they clip into as well.

You have to fill those holes and repaint. It sucks.
