clicking noise
So im kinda stuck. i recently bought a 2003 g35 sedan. runs great but at speeds above 55 mph there is a clicking and clacking noise coming from my drivers side. its not loud but sounds like something is ratteling around or loose. i cannot see anything under that is loose. i hear it from the corner left of the break pedal. anyone have any idea what it could be? i thhought maybe it was the bumper because it was a ittle loose and i no longer have a shield underneath as well. but im not sure. i tightened the bumper cover to be safe but still makes noise.
could be wheel bearing or CV joint. Check to see if the cv boot is ripped or torn or anything. Does it make a sound when you turn quick in either direction? Checking wheel bearings is easy just get the tire off the ground and grab the top and bottom of the wheel and wiggle it and see if there is any play or clicking/clanking sound when you wiggle it. If your CV boot is torn probably a CV joint issue.
